COUPLES’ THERAPY

Our closest relationships can bring us some of our greatest joy—and some of our deepest pain.

You may feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected from your partner, misunderstood, or uncertain about how to reconnect. I also hear from couples who feel unable to communicate with one another effectively. Or couples who just can’t seem to get on the same page with household responsibilities, the mental load, or parenting differences.

My advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) supports my attachment-based approach to couples and relationship counseling. I also bring training and experience with Gottman tools that I use when appropriate as well.

Together, we can explore the cycles you and your partner may be caught in, the emotions underneath those cycles, and the needs for connection that may be difficult to express.

The goal isn’t to decide who is right or wrong. It’s to better understand what is happening between you and create opportunities for greater safety, connection, and understanding.

I work with couples at every stage of their relationship—from dating and preparing for marriage to newlywed life and long-term, deeply committed partnerships. I also support couples who find themselves caught in painful or recurring patterns, navigating the aftermath of infidelity, or facing the difficult questions of separation or divorce. Wherever you are in your relationship, therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand the patterns between you, and find a path toward greater connection and clarity.
